"Poodle & Black" synopsis
When Officer Jim Poodle's partner and best friend Jack Knack is accidentally shot in a disastrous undercover cocaine deal, Poodle must promise his dying partner to team up with and protect his ex-wife Beth Black who's also a cop. Trouble is she works for the 73rd precinct which has been deleted from the police database by mistake, so it doesn't officially exist and its captain has come up with ingenious tricks to keep it operational and to recruit new staff. One year later, Poodle and Black must both train a new recruit, gay police school graduate John Hancock and find out how radical nature protectionist and billionaire Greenwood is related to a series of dramatically ineffectual bomb scares across town. Furthermore manic killer Priest and his scruffy assistant Dodge also appear on the scene with an agenda of their own. Quite a case to solve for the chaosmongering Poodle and Black...
